Secrets

Show a code, link or message to holders.

A secret reward shows hidden text only to members who hold the role: a coupon code, a private link, an early announcement, instructions for the next step.

Set it up

1. In the admin panel, open Spaces & roles, select the role, and under Unlocks press Add reward.
2. Pick Secret.
3. Optionally upload an image, and give the secret a title, such as "Discount code" or "Beta access link". Members see the title and image before they qualify, so don't put the secret there.
4. Write the secret in Secret Text. You can format it with bold, lists and links.
5. Press Create Secret Reward.

How it works for members

Members see the secret's title, locked, until they hold the role. Then they press Reveal Secret to read it, and View Secret to read it again later.

Gotchas

• Once a member has revealed a secret, they've seen it. Losing the role later doesn't take back what they read, so treat a revealed secret as handed out.
• Everyone who holds the role sees the same text. For codes that must be unique per person, hand them out another way.
• Guild stores the secret text encrypted and shows it only to members who have claimed it.

Examples

• Merch discount: "Holder discount", text HOLDER-2026 with a link to your shop.
• Private call: "Next community call", text with the meeting link and time.
