Profile items
Give roles avatar frames and effects made for your guild.
A profile item reward gives the members of a role an avatar frame or a profile effect made for your guild. Members wear it on their profile and next to their name in chat, so a role shows even when they're not in your guild's space.
What a profile item is
Each item is either an avatar frame, drawn around a member's picture, or a profile effect, a short animation that plays when their profile opens. You make the items on the Profile items page in the admin panel, then give them out as rewards. Members who hold the role can wear the item; a member who loses the role stops wearing it.
Make an item
- In the admin panel, open Profile items and press New item.
- Choose Avatar frame or Profile effect.
- Pick Guild starter art, then pick a colour from your brand colours, a hex code or the colour picker. The preview updates as you choose.
- Name it and press Create item.
Starter art and recolouring are free for every guild, up to 50 items.
Upload your own art
Guilds on a paid plan, or boosted by Guild Plus members, can also upload a PNG, WebP or GIF as an item. Uploaded items use custom art slots. Boost levels add slots: 5 at level 1, 15 at level 2 and 30 at level 3. If you're out of slots, archive an item or raise your plan or boost level. Items already made stay if the level later drops, but new uploads wait until there's room.
Give an item as a reward
- Open Spaces & roles, select the role, and under Unlocks press Add reward.
- Pick Profile item.
- Choose one of your items and press Add profile item.
Granting is automatic once a member holds the role. There's nothing to claim.
When the role is lost
Losing the role takes the item off the member's profile. If another role they hold gives the same item, they keep wearing it.
Gotchas
- Archiving an item stops new grants. Members who already wear it keep it until they lose the role.
- Uploaded art is shown at a small size next to names. Keep the middle clear and the details bold.
