Subscribe to a channel, or like or comment on a video.

YouTube requirements check a member's connected YouTube account: whether it subscribes to a channel, or liked or commented on a video.

What it's for

• Grow a channel: a role for subscribers.
• Boost a launch video: points for liking it or leaving a comment.

Set it up

1. Under Who gets it, press Requirement, search for YouTube and pick Subscribe to a YouTube channel, Like a YouTube video or Comment on a YouTube video.
2. Fill in the form:
   • For a channel, paste a channel URL of the form https://youtube.com/channel/UC..., or the channel ID itself, which starts with UC and is 24 characters long. A handle such as @yourchannel is not a channel ID. To find the ID, open the channel's About panel on YouTube, choose Share channel, then Copy channel ID.
   • For a video, paste the video's URL, or its 11-character ID, the part after v= in a youtube.com/watch?v= link.
3. Press Add requirement.

Gotchas

• Members must connect their YouTube account to Guild, and it must be the account that subscribed, liked or commented.
• A subscribe requirement shows members a Subscribe on YouTube button that opens the channel.

Examples

• Subscribers: Subscribe to a YouTube channel, your channel.
• Launch crew: Comment on a YouTube video, your launch video.
