X (Twitter)

Follow, like, repost, or have something in an X profile.

X requirements check a member's connected X account: whether it follows an account or is followed by it, whether it liked or reposted a post, or what its profile says.

What it's for

  • Grow an account: a role for everyone who follows yours.
  • Boost an announcement: a role or points for liking or reposting a post.
  • Filter low-effort accounts: require a minimum follower count, an account older than a date, or a verified account.

Set it up

  1. Under Who gets it, press Requirement, open Twitter / X and pick a type.
  2. Fill in the form:
    • Follow or be followed by: enter the account's username, without the @, and choose Following (the member follows it) or Followed By (it follows the member).
    • Like a post and Repost a post: paste the post's URL, for example https://x.com/guildxyz/status/1234567890, or just its ID, the number at the end of the URL.
    • Have something in your profile: choose the field to check under Select what to check, such as Followers Count, Created At or Verified, then the value.
  3. Press Add requirement.

Gotchas

  • Members must connect their X account. A follow requirement shows them a Follow @username button that opens the account on X; after following, they press Check access.
  • If a member's X connection has expired, the requirement can't be checked until they reconnect X. Their requirement card offers Reconnect X.
  • A suspended X account can't be checked until X restores it.

Examples

  • Followers: Follow or be followed by, guildxyz, Following.
  • Supporters: Repost a post, your launch announcement.
  • Established accounts: Have something in your profile, Created At, before 1 January 2024.
