Covest Finance Protocol is a risk-sharing protocol that enabled people to share risk together without the need for insurance companies as the entities to manage and custody the fund. The protocol relies on smart contract allowing members to secure risk by locking up the membership fee in the pool. The pool is fully owned by the members who also vote in governance as well as claims assessment. The unclaimed premium fee will be distributed to all stakeholders after the coverage period.
